Why is my location accuracy low?

Low location accuracy can be frustrating. Most issues are caused by device settings rather than the WheresNow app itself.

Common Causes

1. Battery Saver Mode: Many devices limit GPS usage when battery is low or in power-saving mode.
2. Poor Signal: GPS requires a clear line of sight to satellites. High-rise buildings or tunnels can interfere.
3. Background Permissions: If "Precise Location" or "Background App Refresh" is disabled, accuracy will suffer.

How to Fix

• iOS: Go to Settings > WheresNow > Location > Set to "Always" and enable "Precise Location".
• Android: Go to Settings > Apps > WheresNow > Permissions > Location > Use Precise Location & Allow all the time.

If you still experience issues, try restarting your mobile device.
